Recently I completed three projects. One for Aon, one for Chevrolet and a freelance job for a studio in Ireland. It was a busy month!
The Aon and Chevrolet projects were competition entries for MoFilm which I received grants for. Below are a few screen grabs and cut outs to give you an idea of what they turned out like. They were fun to work on and gave me a chance to experiment with storytelling in the short form (and also experiment with visuals a bit). Both were shortlisted so good news!
Here’s a preview image from a project I’ve just finished. I’m working on some other nice illustration and animation jobs too…whilst enjoying the warm weather! It was my mum’s 50th this weekend so a good meal at a French restaurant in town topped off a midsummer-esque weekend. Now back to work!
got the site transferred over and consolidated all other sites I manage, so it’s easier to keep track and keep the costs down. Re-reading, that sounds a bit like an advert for a daytime TV debt company! Diagnosis? Murder!
Loads of updates within this now forum-based site. If you’re interested in animation then feel free to join up and contribute. It has a growing wealth of resources and links to help you on your creative way, aswell as news and general chat. In the future there’s room for other developments, but it’d be great if you only post one of your favourite sites, then everyone can share.
Feedback is welcome.
Lots of updates in the animation department, mainly on Vimeo. I’ve added links to my various social web 2.0-ness accounts so you can check out my life and pretend you know me. Then I can know you, friend.
Updates galore today with the sketchbook on the plus by just under 10 new pics. Also I’ve made it a bit easier to tell which page you’re on (if you’re daft). Here’s an image I experimented with today (from a sketchbook doodle…trying out some colour styling). Also an example from the new inky life drawings.
