Training you say? Yes, that’s right!

Having over 3 years experience teaching in higher education (both in the U.K and Australia) I was excited to set up something specific to my skillset. In 2017 I founded Toon Boom Trainer, an online tutored course to help people learn industry-standard animation software. This was off the back of becoming the U.K’s first certified expert in the software, Toon Boom Harmony.

I also provide on-site tutoring for those who prefer a crash course, hands-on approach. These courses can be tailored to any level and are popular with higher education institutions (Edge Hill, Manchester Metropolitan) and animation studios (Aardman Animations, King Bee).

What kind of training do I offer?

• For studios: training of animators in-house
• For universities: Staff crash courses and associate lecturing for students
• One on one: Online sessions booked to suit individual schedules, anywhere in the world.

Although Toon Boom Harmony is my main training focus, I am also a well-versed animator and trainer in Adobe Animate. I love to teach people my methods of working on TV shows with these software packages, with a strong emphasis on making the courses fun, memorable and packed with great character animation!
